KAREN RENNER-VALLEY – DIRECTOR
Hello, my name is Karen. I am so happy to be in an environment of such caring people, staff, caregivers, and participants. I have been a nurse for a very long time, but very new in this position of Director at Park Place, having started in November, 2016. I come from a background that has put sensitivity and giving to others at its core. Of my relationships in this life thus far, I am sometimes the teacher, but more often the student, the one who is everyday learning something new and important. I am truly blessed with a loving family, one daughter, a son-in-law, two grandchildren, and two dogs who think I’m their mom. They all bring me joy.

In my spare time, I volunteer at several places in the community. I love to knit, crochet, read and watch movies at home.  I feel I have a very busy but rewarding life

JACKIE MASON- CCA
Hello, my name is Jackie. Before recently coming to Park Place, I worked in an assisted living home. Prior to that, I worked two decades as a police, fire, and EMS dispatcher. I have always found meaning in service to others, but it is the face to face connection in my last and present job that has given me the most satisfaction. I love helping and getting to know those who require extra help in their lives, who are typically considered one of the most “vulnerable” groups in our society. But it is they who have given me the gift of a deeper understanding and compassion that I may not have otherwise learned. They, along with our wonderful caring staff, have only reinforced what it is to truly care for others. I have a wonderful husband, two sons, and grandchildren. I enjoy family, gardening, music, and art. I also care deeply about animals and our environment.
